Liquid Compass Launches Next Generation Media Player

Integrates Industry-leading Mobile Technologies from Ando Media and AirKast; Charlotte, Atlanta and San Antonio Markets First to Roll-Out

DENVER, Colo. (April 15, 2009)Liquid Compass, a premier streaming delivery network to the radio industry, announced that it is launching its next generation LC Pro Flash media player with its broadcasters in Charlotte, Atlanta and San Antonio.

The fully-functional Flash player ties together the broadcaster’s web, mobile, live/on-demand and video streaming initiatives. Listeners to stations on the Liquid Compass Streaming Network now will have the ability to sort through videos, last played songs, search through other stations or side channels on their group/network, send the station’s stream to their mobile devices, view the station’s home page, and more.

The new Flash media player designed by the Liquid Compass development team incorporates both AirKast TuneKast and Ando Media Targeted Ad Injector ad insertion technology as a fully-integrated mobile media platform. Utilizing this platform, radio stations can reach their listeners on the move and better define where their ad content will be trafficked on a mobile device, desktop media player or both.
