New Joint Venture Lets Radio Stations Deliver Text-based Ad Campaigns Across Multiple Distribution Channels Simultaneously

MILPITAS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– AirKast, the leader in mobile digital content and advertising solutions, announced today that it has signed a strategic partnership with Jump2Go. Through this partnership, AirKast customers can now create text-based messages and call-to-action URLs for on-air activities and deliver them to multiple distribution channels simultaneously. This partnership opens new opportunities for radio stations to coordinate messages and advertiser offerings to further engage mobile listeners during broadcasts. Messages are delivered to the stations’ AirKast mobile apps for Android, iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry devices in addition to popular RDS-enabled or HD Radios, websites and iPods.

“Our partnership with Jump2Go signifies our commitment to continually offer AirKast customers innovative new ways to extend their brands and connect with listeners,” said Larry Leung, chief executive officer for AirKast. “There are great synergies between the vision and technology offerings of both companies to better serve our radio station clients. Now, for the first time, stations can coordinate the delivery of text-based messages and call-to-actions for traditional and HD Radio displays, tablet devices, station web sites and their own AirKast mobile radio network. We plan to develop more joint offerings to help stations further engage listeners on mobile and other consumer devices.”

Jump2Go enables radio stations to create and associate messages, images and call-to-action URL’s for all on-air activity. The company takes advantage of the latest in mobile, RDS, web & HD Radio technology to create content-specific presentations and extend a station’s “brand” to diverse technology platforms. Jump2Go functionality is integrated with the AirKast cloud-based AirBridge platform which distributes station content simultaneously to mobile audiences.

“Stations are always looking for new ways to communicate with their audiences and this partnership lets stations synchronize content to all of the popular mobile devices,” said Allen Hartle, founder of Jump2Go. “Furthermore, stations can offer advertisers the same ability to extend their offerings during commercials or songs, adding value to the station’s core business. These abilities are managed by tools we provide to the stations, giving them full control over the distributed content.”

The AirBridge/Jump2Go service is available today for all AirKast customers.
